Community Communications Partnership Events
Here is where we in the CCP will share details of our events, including chances for experts in the property sector and the political sphere to meet and share ideas. We aim to educate and support understanding between politicians at the local and national level of the positive aspects of development.
If you would like to register to receive invitations to our future events, please sign up at the bottom of this page.
A New Labour Government: Oxfordshire
What does this mean for development in Oxfordshire?
Please join us for a "Question Time" discussion to explore how the new government's policies and housing numbers will shape the future development in Oxfordshire.
This event will be chaired in Oxford by Roger Smith, Planning Director at Savills, and a panel of leading local politicians will join him.
This event is brought to you by The Community Communications Partnership and Savills.
Update: We will hold a similar event in May 2025, chaired by Roger Smith, which will explore the results of the county elections and their consequences for development in Oxfordshire and the surrounding region.
Below are a selection of highlights from our 2024 event:
New Government in Focus
As the political landscape shifts with the incoming Labour government, we would like to help provide insight into the direction of government policy and how upcoming changes may impact our industry.
This event will offer a unique opportunity to engage directly with prominent Labour Party politicians including our team of in-house experts. The co-chairs for the discussion are Duncan Enright, Denise Hyland, and Ian Ward. You will have the chance to gain understanding of Labour’s policy priorities, ask questions, and examine the potential implications for the planning process and housing development.
To ensure a meaningful and interactive experience, we have a maximum capacity of 40 in-person attendees. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Free tickets are available here:
